Integrity Mentors is a 501(c)3 non-profit mentoring program that performs charitable, educational, civic and philanthropic activities to support at-risk youth in low- and moderate-income households. Integrity Mentors provides and administers a program that offers personalized support for academic learning, spiritual growth and constructive development for middle school and high school aged students. The main goal of Integrity Mentors is to help build self-esteem, confidence and self-respect through programs based on biblical principles.

Creating Leaders

It is important that youth understand their value and develop healthy images of themselves. This will help them to have positive relationships and become leaders among their peers and in their communities. Integrity Mentors equips youth with the ability to deal with difficult challenges, decisions that endanger their integrity, and obstacles that threaten their future.

Our Philosophy

Integrity Mentors is more than just a ‘program’. We’re a faith-based platform that holistically develops today’s youth, while giving parents an outlet to become the leaders their children need.

2006

Officially started mentoring a group of five boys who were previously involved in a mentoring program that eventually closed its doors.

2007

Partnered with Urban Young Life which helped to formalize program structure.

2008

Officially named the program Integrity Mentors and received its 501 (c)3 non-profit status from the Small Business Clinic at SMU.

2009

Ramped up activity planning to incorporate advanced group excursions and community service projects.

2010

Hosted our first Mother’s vs. Son’s bowling competition.

2011

Began partnership with Vizient, Inc. to help promote iM's efforts in the community.

2012

Established a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board. Invited by Vizient, Inc. to participate in their annual Community Day event.

2013

Completed development of the new website which enabled visibility on smartphones and tablets.

2014

Partnered with Noggin Educational Coaching, led by David & Doneda Bailey. Noggin is an educational tutoring program that provides services to youth to help them be successful students.

Due to the Vizient partnership, the iM video was enhanced to include reenactments of key events that occurred in the life of Lawrence M., Founder & Executive Director.

First time participating in the North Texas Giving Day event.

Invited by the City of Irving to participate in the Canal Fest providing concessions during the event.

2015

iM was officially made a Partner In Education (P.I.E.) with the Student Reassignment Center (SRC) in Irving, Texas. The ceremony included Irivng ISD Board Members, and many of the teachers and staff at the SRC.

2016

Kicked-off the iM Girls Mentoring Program targeting young women between the ages 12 to 18 years old.

Established a new partnership with Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital which resulted in additional meeting space.

The iM Executive Director left corporate America to run Integrity Mentors on a full-time basis.

Contacted by COSA Investments, LTD. and are currently receiving sponsorship to help expand programming.

Began promoting the new iM LIFE Lessons budgeting activity which was created by Nikki Marshall.

The iM Board elected two new board members; Janine M. – Program Director of Girls Mentoring and Marvin D. – Director of Social Media.
